Stopping in to say hi! πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

I love that Fall season is here now, BUT we are experiencing an Indian Summer here where no one has AC. πŸ₯΅ I was literally sitting in front of the fan, with an iced drink and melting in front of the TV. I think we are finally through it, but my productivity has been very low.

As in, I've not spent an ounce of time writing new posts for the website. I am also behind on my Frugal Five post.

I am also very happy to have family in town. I am realizing that my family was the magic touch to living here back in my young adult years. I am keeping today's newsletter short & sweet so I can spend the most time with them.

72(t) Payment Plan

As someone who is contemplating if a 72(t) fits in my plan to early retire (by 'early', I mean by 58-60 years of age), The FI Tax Guy breaks down taking 72(t) payments from a retirement fund.

Retire Early vs Retiring Rich

The Financial Samurai breaks down with numbers why retiring with time and freedom is better than retiring rich and older. What do you think?

Enjoying Iceland

Then you combine that post above with some evidence that retiring early has proved its worth and her numbers support it. Check out The Purple Life whose net worth just keeps growing while she circumnavigates Iceland and more fabulous destinations.

Financial Independence is Better with Friends

EconoMe

Pursuing FI (Financial Independence) is better with friends! Yes, I whole heartedly agree. This is an incredible conference to attend. Interactive sessions, great minds and speakers, its one big party about money. You will leave inspired and with many new friendships.

Recipes

Pumpkin Cheesecake

This pumpkin cheesecake has a graham cracker crust and a thick and creamy cheesecake that is perfectly spiced for the season. This is like if pumpkin pie and cheesecake got together and had an easy-to-bake baby.

Pumpkin Macaroni & Cheese

Smoked gouda, fontina, warm pumpkin, and sage. Salty parmesan in the breadcrumbs. Need I say more? πŸŽƒ

Well I put aside the writing on the website for a week or two. I know that I am behind on my Frugal Five Things post.

That is because I have been busy getting the Frugal to FI YouTube channel running. A place where you are the videographer, editor, writer, and more! I am much enjoying it. But I am hoping to keep the editing to a minimum. Role with it perfect in "Take One". LOL

I always try to do ALL the things at once. The busy chaos is my happy vibe.

I also created a new budgeting spreadsheet. If you caught my Instagram stories, I offered the link so one could download the budget for their own personal use. Let's start 2025 budgets strong!

I don't guarantee its free of errors. Please check your numbers twice. 😊

If you have any questions, hit reply.

Until next time!

Shop Blog Subscribe Hello my friend, I spent this past weekend celebrating another trip around the sun. It included a big breakfast with family, a delicious hot cup of coffee, and a great movie. One of my received love languages is spending quality time with those people that I cherish. So, the day was perfect. What did we see? Substance starring Demi Moore. Wow, that was an intense movie. Demi Moore's talent shined in this movie and I was happy to see her act again. We thought it was a great...

Shop Blog Subscribe Hello my friend, Can you believe it's almost Autumn?! I am so excited for my favorite season. Especially since I will be able embrace sweater weather in my new location. I am already in full swing with the SpOoKy vibes, too. As you will see in my recent blog posts. We've also busted out the Halloween bins and started decorating our house. This weekend we are going shopping for the season candles with whiffs of pumpkin spice, apple cider, and marshmallow are in the air. Too...

Frugal to FI Subscribe | Resources Hello, my friend! Thank you for sticking with me as I find my rhythm with my site and this newsletter. I am am trying to figure out what direction to go with everything. It was clear in the beginning and then when you get in the grind, it stirs things up. Can I keep up the rhythm? Of course, I tried to do all things at once because I am type A. I am realizing it can get overwhelming quick. The life of a website owner means being a steward of many positions:...
